Haha. Love the humour in that!
You have a genuine smile, which is great to see.

Awesome! You could literally be a poster chick for breast cancer! Of course I mean that in the best possible way! Too cute! :-)

Eileen - there was a lot of humor in picking my prosthesis - they measured me before the mastectomy to make sure I get the same size - I could have had any size but wanted to fit in my clothes just the same :)

Kathy - LOL ... Nah I'd rather not be he poster chick for cancer... Even though I have cancer, I don't actually identify with that image at all... Maybe when all the hair falls out?
Sigh :(

My friends totally bought me a shirt with that saying before I went in for my mastectomy (they knew I was eyeballing it), I haven't been able to wear a t-shirt since my surgery just yet. I love it, the prosthetics look good, but you are just as beautiful with or without them!

I like the shirt....Is there a such thing as too big for boobs? hey as long as they are still pointing up....who cares. I wouldnt go for a run with those puppies on...one wrong move and you'll have 5 lbs of fury in the face. lol

I appreciate that you don't identify with that image and I am sorry if my comment was offensive. That was not my intention. I wish more than anything that were bonding over things other than the fact that you have cancer and I have a baby that died. But I guess if it weren't for such tragic experiences in our lives we wouldn't have the opportunity to to learn from and grow with each other. Hang in there and I still think you are beautiful (with or without cancer).

That is awesome. The statement made me laugh out loud.

OMG that is so funny! I LOVE your sense of humor...I would totally wear that, had i gone through the same thing.

I told my friend about you... your humor, your shirt! She laughed out loud, then clapped her hand over her mouth and looked horrified. I told her not to worry about it. That having a sense of humor is what will get you and so many other people through this ordeal - that laughing is better than crying. Serious, yes, but life is what you make of it - and making it humorous can make it a little easier.

Hi Michelle
I've just caught up on your writings. You've been going through so much and I appreciate you sharing all this so much. You have a way of writing in sucha matter of fact way, about something that terrifies you. You look wonderful by the way.

My thoughts on your options: I don't like the sound of possible heart muscle damage but am wondering if your oncologist has explained what kind of damage it is. Does that in itself become a factor in the survival stats? I know nothing about the chemo involved or about Tamoxifen. On the other hand every second of life is precious so I might opt for the best percentages. It is such personal issue.

Looking forward to your continued writing.
